Do Graphic Designers need Social Media?

TLDR: Yes, absolutely everyone, regardless of career/specialty should be using some form of social media nowadays to advertise their services.

Social media has become a crucial tool for businesses and individuals to promote themselves and their services. For graphic designers, having an optimized social media profile is essential for attracting potential clients and showcasing their skills and work. In one of my earlier projects, I helped Edwin Villalba optimize his Instagram account to increase his awareness and increase his organic following. He went from getting no followers for months, to gaining ~5 new followers every day organically! So this made me ask myself: Do Graphic Designers need Social Media? In short, yes, any small business, brand, and individual MUST be using social media nowadays in order to be seen. If it worked for one graphic designer, it has to work for more.
